If it was not for Hurricane David, in 1979, she
would have been born in Dominica, but she was conceived here. Karina
LeBlanc, the daughter of Vans and Winsome LeBlanc was a fellow school
mate of many of you who attended the Convent Prep. Her parents were
forced to leave here with her bigger sister Sharma since there was no
water nor electricity and Sharma got VERY sick with
dysentary.
