Island Hikers will be visiting Dominica from 6th -10th June'12.
On our visit to scout the trails of Dominica in preparation for June'12 (Edmund,Danny and Mario) we were all amazed by the natural beauty of the place.Friendly people who just love to hold yuh in a chat.well maintained hiking trails ,numerous waterfalls .
Boiling lake was out of this world .Titou Gorge was one of the best i have seen.Fort Shirley is more than just a fort but a National Park you could spend the day there exploring the 2 Cabrits .Hiking Morne Diablotin 4747 to the trig-ma was a hike that really tired us out mentally.When in Dominica they say it will take you 1 hour to do a trail believe me it will not be less .
We needed to spend more than a month in Dominica to complete all the trails .If you love nature this is the place to visit
