A day long trip in Dominica. It started at Champagne Reef where the sea floor is venting hot air bubbles, then goes to the beautiful Emerald Pool. Lots to see on this island if you get out there.

I would love to find out what type of video camera you used these videos
are beautiful!
@psoracco I think I used the Sony HVR-A1U for this video. For the
underwater stuff I used the same camera with the Ikelite Underwater Housing
which is designed for the camera. Thanks for the comments!
Awesome video. This is the next place I’d like to visit. Your shots and
music are great. Perfect editing
Thanks! I totally recommend this place. It is beautiful and there is so
much to see. What isn’t on this video is the Titou Gorge, a must do.
is there always so many people there???
I’d say only when cruise ships are in port. Everything dies down
considerably when they leave.
Im hoping to go there in late june. Hoping it wont be cruise ship season.
would you say its better to go on the morning before the mob shows up? when
is the water actually blue-green?
+X101Andy I was working on one of the ships, so I wouldn’t know. But ship
tours start first thing in the morning. There are always some ships in the
Caribbean all summer, but not as many after May, when lots move to either
Alaska or Europe. Also, I don’t think Dominica is as common a destination,
so I would guess June would be pretty quiet.
